Acceptance

By downloading or using OfficeTrack ("the app"), made by Cabin Room Studio, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What the app is for

OfficeTrack is a personal productivity tool. You use it to log your own work location (office, home, leave and so on) and track it against a weekly or monthly target you set yourself.

It's for personal, informal record-keeping. It is not an official timekeeping, payroll, HR compliance or legal attendance system.

Your data, your responsibility

All data you enter is stored on your own device (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for backing up your data if you want a copy elsewhere; use the app's backup and export features.

Cabin Room Studio has no access to your data and can't recover it if your device is lost or reset, or the app is uninstalled without a backup.

Ads

The free version of the app shows ads provided by Google. Ads are shown at natural pauses and in clearly labelled cards. Their content comes from Google and its advertisers, not from Cabin Room Studio.

Watching an optional rewarded ad hides ads for 24 hours.

By using the free version, you agree that ads are shown as described in the Privacy Policy, which explains what data Google's ad services use and how to limit ad personalisation from your phone's settings.

Pro

Pro removes ads and unlocks the Pro features described in the app. It's sold through Google Play in two ways:

• Pro for life: a one-time purchase. Pro stays unlocked for good.
• Pro subscription: a 3-month or a yearly plan. Prices are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy.

Subscriptions

• Automatic renewal: a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then shown in Google Play, until you cancel. Google Play charges the payment method on your account.
• Cancelling: cancel anytime in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or Settings → Pro → Manage subscription in the app). Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, and isn't refunded for the unused part except where Google Play's refund policy or the law says otherwise.
• Free trial: when a free trial is offered, you're charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. A trial is available once per Google account.
• Switching plans: switching between the 3-month and yearly plans is done through Google Play, which credits the unused time of your current plan.
• When a subscription ends: ads return and Pro features lock. Your data, including Pro settings such as leave types and office policy rules, stays on your phone, and it's used again if you subscribe again or buy Pro for life.
• Buying Pro for life while subscribed: Google Play doesn't cancel the subscription for you. Cancel it yourself so you aren't charged again.

For every purchase

• Your account: a purchase is tied to the Google account you bought it with, and is restored on reinstall or on a new phone signed in to that account.
• Payments and refunds: these are handled by Google Play under Google Play's terms and refund policies.
• Price changes: we may change prices. A change to a subscription price follows Google Play's notice rules, and you can cancel before it applies.
• Changes to features: we may improve or change Pro features over time. We won't take away the ad-free experience from people who have Pro.

No warranty

OfficeTrack is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose, including as evidence in workplace attendance disputes. If your employer requires official attendance records, don't rely on this app as your only source of truth.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cabin Room Studio isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. That includes data loss, missed reminders, or differences in attendance or hours calculations.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update the app and these terms over time. Continuing to use the app after a terms update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.

Termination

You can stop using OfficeTrack at any time by uninstalling it. We may also discontinue or change the app at our discretion.
